From August 7 to 10, 2024, HP Steel Joint Stock Company partnered with Becamex International Hospital to organize a comprehensive annual health checkup and occupational disease examination for its entire workforce. Held every year, the program safeguards employee health, reinforces workplace safety at the factory, and ensures full compliance with Vietnamese labor health regulations.
A comprehensive screening program
Recognizing the value of preventive care, employees across all departments arranged their schedules to take part in the full examination process, which included:
- General examination: vision, ENT, dental, blood pressure, and electrocardiogram (ECG).
- Blood tests: liver and kidney function, blood glucose, uric acid, and hepatitis B screening.
- Diagnostic imaging: abdominal ultrasound and chest X-ray.
- Urinalysis (10 parameters): early detection of diabetes, kidney disease, urinary tract infections, and other conditions.
- For female employees: gynecological examination plus cervical and breast cancer screening in accordance with Circular 09/2023/TT-BYT issued by the Ministry of Health.

Early detection, long-term protection
Through clinical results and direct consultation with physicians, employees can detect early warning signs of serious conditions such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and stroke. Employees undergoing treatment also received medical advice on treatment plans, nutrition, and suitable working conditions to support a faster recovery.

People at the heart of sustainable growth
The annual health program reflects the deep commitment of HP Steel's leadership to putting people first. In the structural steel fabrication industry — where physical stamina, focus, and safety are paramount — a healthy workforce is the foundation of consistent product quality and on-time delivery.
This initiative reaffirms HP Steel's pledge to build a safe, healthy, and productive workplace, strengthening its human capital and advancing the company's sustainable development goals.
