HP Steel Welcomes Binh Duong University (BDU) Students for a Steel Fabrication Factory Tour

On the morning of December 6, 2024, HP Steel was pleased to welcome civil construction engineering students from Binh Duong University (BDU) for a field tour of the company's structural steel factory at My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park, Ben Cat, Binh Duong — firsthand exposure to fabrication on the factory floor.
A warm welcome and industry insights
On behalf of the university, MSc. Trinh Van Thuong – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Architecture & Construction – thanked HP Steel's leadership for the opportunity to learn from a real production environment, and the faculty presented a token of appreciation.
From the company, Mr. Pham Van Tai – CEO of HP Steel, together with Mr. Ho Trong Phuc – Production Manager, shared Hung Phuoc Corporation's growth story and the design, steel fabrication and supervision process behind its international projects.
A hands-on tour of the production line
To help students grasp the full steel structure manufacturing process, HP Steel guided the group through the plant's key areas:
- The steel cutting and component fabrication area
- The powder-coating ( painting) shop
- The trial-assembly yard for steel members before delivery
At every stage, skilled technicians offered hands-on guidance while the plant's leadership answered students' questions — deepening their understanding of the profession they are pursuing.
Bridging industry and academia
For HP Steel, partnering with universities helps train the next generation of engineers for the construction and structural steel sector. Field tours like this give students a vivid, practical perspective and valuable knowledge for their future careers.
